2Wire 2700/2701/3800 HGV running AT&T Firmware
Please follow these instructions to configure your 2Wire 2700/2701/3800 HGV running AT&T Firmware router to work with PhonePower. These instructions are only if you are connecting your phone adapter to your router.
- You will need the current IP address of your phone adapter.
- If you have a Grandstream phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on a Grandstream.
- If you have an Innomedia phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Innomedia.
- If you have an Obihai phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Obihai.
- Please write this IP Address down as you will need it in later steps

• Once you have logged in to your router click the Firewall link at the top.
• Once on the firewall screen, click on the Firewall Settings link in the top menu bar.
• Once on the firewall settings page, select the IP address of your phone adapter from the drop down menu. This is the IP address that you received in the first step of this process.
• Click the bottom radio button labeled Allow All Applications (DMZplus mode).
• Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
• Next, we must disable the SIP ALG that may be present on the 2wire. (Not all 2Wire modems have a SIP ALG that can be disabled).
• Open up a browser and navigate to http://gateway.2wire.net/management OR http://192.168.1.254/mdc.
• After you access the Management and Diagnostic Console a navigation bar allows you to quickly select pages
• Click on Configure Services in the advanced section. The following page will be loaded: Advanced - Configure Services
• Un-check SIP Application Layer Gateway.
• Click Submit to save the changes.
