Actiontec M1000

Please follow these instructions to configure your Actiontec M1000 router to work with PhonePower. These instructions are only if you are connecting your phone adapter to your router.

• You will need the current IP address of your phone adapter.
  
• If you have a Grandstream phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on a Grandstream.
  
• If you have an Innomedia phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Innomedia.
  
• If you have an Obihai phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Obihai.
  
• Please write this IP Address down as you will need it in later steps

Open a web browser Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar and press enter Log into the router. You will be prompted for a username and password. The default username is admin The default password is password or password1

• If the above username or password doesnt work please contact your ISP and ask for the administrator login information for your router.

• Click on Advanced Setup.

• Click on DMZ Hosting on the left menu bar under Security.

• On the DMZ Hosting page, select the radio button to the on position.
• In the DMZ Host IP address enter the IP address of your phone adapter.
• Click Apply.
