Comtrend CT536

Please follow these instructions to configure your Comtrend CT536 router to work with PhonePower. These instructions are only if you are connecting your phone adapter to your router.

• You will need the current IP address of your phone adapter.
  
• If you have a Grandstream phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on a Grandstream.
  
• If you have an Innomedia phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Innomedia.
  
• If you have an Obihai phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Obihai.
  
• Please write this IP Address down as you will need it in later steps

Open a web browser Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar and press enter Log into the router. You will be prompted for a username and password. The default username is root or user The default password is 1234

• Click on Advanced Setup.

• Click on DMZ Host.
• Enter the IP address you received from your phone adapter in the first step.
• Click Save/Apply

• Click ALG on the left.
• SIP Enabled will likely be checked. UN-check the box.
• Click Save/Apply
