How to place calls with the Legacy Softphone

Making Outbound calls on the Softphone

To place calls with the Phone Power Softphone, please follow these instructions.

Once the program is running and you have logged in with your Phone Power MyAccount Username and Password, you will see the following:

•To place a call, click in the window for either Line 1 or Line 2.

• Type in the phone number you wish to call, the call should start after the tenth digit is pressed.

•To force the call to start, click on Call button or press the Enter key.

•Numbers in the Contact List and the Call Log can be clicked on to make a call instead of manually dialing a phone number

• To end the call, click the Hang up button.

•To place a call on hold, click on the Hold button and the call will be placed on hold.

• Click on the Hold button again to continue the call.

To place a Conference call:

•Call the first person, make sure they pick up the phone.

•Click on the Flash button and dial the phone number of the second party.

•Once they have answered the call, click Flash again and the calls will be conferenced together.
