How to place calls with the Softphone
Making Outbound calls on the Softphone
To place calls with the Phone Power Softphone, please follow these instructions.
• Once the program is running and you have logged in with your Phone Power MyAccount Username and Password, you will see the following:
• To place a call, click in the window for either Line 1 or Line 2.
• Type in the phone number you wish to call, the call should start after the tenth digit is pressed.
• To force the call to start, click on Call button or press the Enter key.
• Numbers in the Contact List and the Call Log can be clicked on to make a call instead of manually dialing a phone number
• To end the call, click the Hang up button.
Hold
• To place a call on hold, click on the Hold button and the call will be placed on hold.
• Click on the Hold button again to continue the call.
Conference Call
To place a Conference call:
• Call the first person, make sure they pick up the phone.
• Click on the Conference button to place the first call on hold
• Dial the phone number of the second party per usual.
• Once they have answered the call, the softphone will connect the calls and display the following:
