Please follow these instructions to configure your NetGear R6250 router to work with PhonePower. These instructions are only if you are connecting your phone adapter to your router.

- Open a web browser
- Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar and press enter
- Log into the router. You will be prompted for a username and password.
- The default username is admin
- The default password is password

• Click the Advanced Tab towards the top of the screen
|
|
• Click Advanced Setup in the menu on the left
• Click Port Forwarding/Port Triggering
|
|
• Click + Add Custom Service
|
|
• Enter PhonePower1 for the Service Name
• Select UDP for Service Type
• Enter 5004 for the External Starting Port
• Enter 5012 for the External Ending Port
• Make sure Use the same port range for internal port is checked
• Enter the IP address of your phone adapter for Internal IP Address
• Click Apply

• Add another custom service
• Enter PhonePower2 for the Service Name
• Select UDP for Service Type
• Enter 5060 for the External Starting Port
• Enter 5061 for the External Ending Port
• Make sure Use the same port range for internal port is checked
• Enter the IP address of your phone adapter for Internal IP Address
• Click Apply

• Add another custom service
• Enter PhonePower3 for the Service Name
• Select UDP for Service Type
• Enter 10000 for the External Starting Port
• Enter 10000 for the External Ending Port
• Make sure Use the same port range for internal port is checked
• Enter the IP address of your phone adapter for Internal IP Address
• Click Apply

• Add another custom service
• Enter PhonePower4 for the Service Name
• Select UDP for Service Type
• Enter 12060 for the External Starting Port
• Enter 12061 for the External Ending Port
• Make sure Use the same port range for internal port is checked
• Enter the IP address of your phone adapter for Internal IP Address
• Click Apply

• Add another custom service
• Enter PhonePower5 for the Service Name
• Select TCP/UDP for Service Type
• Enter 4200 for the External Starting Port
• Enter 4200 for the External Ending Port
• Make sure Use the same port range for internal port is checked
• Enter the IP address of your phone adapter for Internal IP Address
• Click Apply
