Netgear R7000

Please follow these instructions to configure your Netgear R7000 router to work with PhonePower. These instructions are only if you are connecting your phone adapter to your router.

• You will need the current IP address of your phone adapter.
  
• If you have a Grandstream phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on a Grandstream.
  
• If you have an Innomedia phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Innomedia.
  
• If you have an Obihai phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Obihai.
  
• Please write this IP Address down as you will need it in later steps

Open a web browser Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar and press enter Log into the router. You will be prompted for a username and password. The default username is admin The default password is password

Click to enlarge • We will be inserting Custom Ports for the phone adapter. • The names and the ports are inserted as illustrated in the screen capture. • After each one, please click on Apply on the top of that page. Click to enlarge • After you have set the ports, you will need to navigate to WPS Wizard / Setup / Wan Setup. • From there, please check Disable SIP ALG and Disable IGMP Proxying • Click Apply to save the settings. Note: If you are unable to place a call after 15 minutes, or any other irregularities appear, please contact our support department for additional assistance.
