SMC 8014

Please follow these instructions to configure your SMC 8014 router to work with PhonePower. These instructions are only if you are connecting your phone adapter to your router.

• You will need the current IP address of your phone adapter.
  
• If you have a Grandstream phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on a Grandstream.
  
• If you have an Innomedia phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Innomedia.
  
• If you have an Obihai phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Obihai.
  
• Please write this IP Address down as you will need it in later steps

Open a web browser Enter http://10.1.10.1 into the address bar and press enter Log into the router. You will be prompted for a username and password. The default username is cusadmin The default password is highspeed

• At the main page click on Firewall. This is located under the feature settings section.
• Click on DMZ.
• Place a check mark in Enable DMZ Host.
• Populate the the DMZ field with the IP address of your phone adapter that you received in the first step on this process.
• Apply the settings.

• Click on Firewall Settings and disable the Gateway Smart Packet Detection.
• Apply the settings.
