Speedstream 4200

Please follow these instructions to configure your Speedstream 4200 router to work with PhonePower. These instructions are only if you are connecting your phone adapter to your router.

• You will need the current IP address of your phone adapter.
  
• If you have a Grandstream phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on a Grandstream.
  
• If you have an Innomedia phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Innomedia.
  
• If you have an Obihai phone adapter please refer to How to receive the current WAN IP Address on an Obihai.
  
• Please write this IP Address down as you will need it in later steps

Open a web browser Enter http://10.1.1.1 into the address bar and press enter Log into the router. You will be prompted for a username and password. The default username is admin The default password is password

• Once you are logged into the device click on Setup. • Click on DMZ under the Firewall heading on the left menu bar. • This displays the Firewall DMZ Configuration page. • Select the radio button to enable the DMZ. • Enter the IP address you received from your phone adapter in the first step in the entry box to the right. • Select the radio button to make settings permanent. • Click Apply.
